On Sunday September 21, 2008, at 9 pm, Dr Ian Stewart revealed on the BBC, in 'The Climate Wars', that scientific evidence from Greenland ice core samples prove that in the past, Earth has gone from cold to hot in 1 to 3 years - present Climate Change Models are wrong. The change will be sudden, as in previous times. Ex-Australian Prime Minister, John Howard, refused to sign up to Kyoto! The new PM promptly signed.
The Americans have caused much of the climate and banking troubles, but it is also the Americans who took the ice core samples. Also, the Russians and the Americans measured the thinning of the Arctic Ice - and now the British have revealed this vital information. We are out of time! Earth tilting on its axis has happened before. Scientists should study Stonehenge, England, built by the Ancients to mark the position of the Sun. Earth tilt can be accurately recorded in a physical way.
The fast way to stop climate change is to extract methane (natural gas) from permafrost to operate power stations, cars, trucks and other engines. This will reduce the quantity of Methane that will escape into the atmosphere. Methane is a 20 X more powerful greenhouse gas than CO2. To increase the mining and distribution network, shipping containers can be used to supplement pipelines and tankers.
A patent search produced a short list of 39 patents from a total of 23,663 possible patents - so there is much interest in container transporting.
A great many residential and business Wind Management Structures will remain to provide energy when the methane is depleted.
Nuclear Power Stations are obsolete and take too long to build (and de-commission). Using up the Methane is much more sensible.

October 10 2008. It can all be fixed today! All Nations should escape from the 19th and 20th Centuries by scrapping all present taxes. A new less than 1% tax on all financial house debits and credits would be more than enough to pay all Government costs. The governments would lend their surplus money to the banks at 1% who would lend on in their high gearing way.
To keep it simple there must be NO EXCEPTIONS. Corporations pay. pensioners pay, charities pay, etc. - Those who evade the less than 1% tax are jailed.
Imagine, no more tax forms! The saving to the world economy means we can easily install renewable energy, have more holidays, dine at fine restaurants and in all ways, have a better life.
World Economics is in a mess - It can be fixed in a day!!! There is no better time than NOW.
